Ade Adetunji

Adeyemi Adetunji (Ade) is a lawyer and consultant  with  specialties  in entertainment, data protection, technology and energy law.

Having been a founding member of the record label and production company 506 Music & 506 Media in 2017 he was able to gain key insights into the African entertainment business sector as well collaborate with talented creatives ands entities such as, Wizkid, Joeboy, Falz to name a few. 

His  work with the music streaming platform Audiomack has allowed him to further his mission of empowering creatives and has enabled the  platform to become one of the top downloaded apps in Africa and the premier source for Afrobeat music discovery around the world. Ade’s  keen interest in the African creative ecosystem  has allowed him to feature and opine in prominent  African blogs such as Native Magazine and Culture Custodian as weill as speak on numerous panels discussing the growth of the afrobeat music on a global stage. 

The  Turntable Charts recently placed Ade on the “Turntable Power list 2021” for playing a key role in shaping the music industry due to his work with  growing the Audiomack  in Africa. In 2022 Ade was nominated at the Future Awards Africa  for the prize in  professional services, showing his commitment to excellence as a young executive in the entertainment sector, 

Ade’s main aim in is to use his growing platform toempower creatives and to leave the entertainment industry in a better place than he found it.

Juanita Abii

Juanita Abii is a multi-disciplinary attorney with a legal focus on Intellectual Property and Corporate law and a business focus on Marketing and Brand Management. In 2014, she received her BA in International Relations from George Washington University, and in 2021 she received both her MBA and JD from George Washington University.

She has had the opportunity to work extensively in the entertainment industry by providing legal services to independent artists and working with companies such as Sony Music Entertainment and the Copyright Alliance. She has over 5 years of experience with contract drafting, contract negotiations, risk assessment, and licensing agreements within the entertainment industry.

Outside of her legal background, Juanita has experience working as a business strategist,

marketing and brand management lead, and a commercial lead for companies such as Coca-Cola Hellenic, Nestle, and Pernod Ricard.

Finally, Juanita is also an aspiring documentary filmmaker who is using her background in the

entertainment industry to tell the story of the music business in Nigeria. She sees herself as a storyteller and believes that whatever area of life she finds herself in, she must tell stories that make an impact.
